DEER MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY

A Living Sanctuary for Regenerative Land Stewardship, Ceremony, and Community

Deer Mountain Sanctuary is a 2,000-acre sacred land sanctuary stewarded by Earth Peoples United (EPU) in the mountains of Northern California, just north of Mt. Shasta in Siskiyou County. The land includes forest, rangeland, pasture, and watershed and functions as both a working landscape and a place of gathering, prayer, and learning.

Deer Mountain is where EPU practices and demonstrates what regenerative, land-based living looks like in real time—through grazing, fire ecology, land planning, ceremony, and community.
