Departure around mid day
B’atz is the Mayan Daylord that carries the energies of birthing, the umbilical cord, the threads of life, ancestral wisdom encoded in our genetics, artistic expression, and the feminine force of creation in all things. When paired with Belejeb (9), the sacred vibration of birthing, Bejeleb B’atz becomes a powerful time to honor women as the birthers and caretakers of life.
This ceremonial day arrives 40 days after Waqxaqui (8) B’atz, the cycle of spiritual renewal led by the men, reminding us of the sacred balance between the masculine and feminine. Together, these days weave a rhythm of renewal, creation, and continuity in the Mayan calendar.
Just five days later comes Jun (1) Ajmak, the day of blessing for the children. On this day, communities gather to offer prayers for the wholeness and well-being of all children—both those living among us and the inner child within each of us. We give thanks for the gift of life, blessing with flowering staffs and offerings to the Mayan Fire.

Contribution Levels (Sliding Scale)
Our sliding scale honors both individual capacity and collective reciprocity, ensuring the gathering is sustained through many forms of giving.
Accessible Path – $260 (Supported Participation)
Helps lower financial barriers, supported by the generosity of others. We recognize this may still be a stretch and honor the commitment it represents.
Steward Path – $375 (Balanced Contribution)
Reflects an estimated average cost, covering food, land stewardship, materials, and coordination. Choosing this path helps sustain balance.
Guardian Path – $555 (Abundant Giving)
Extends beyond personal participation—uplifting elders, supporting ceremonies, sustaining Sanctuary Projects and Mother Earth Wellness Initiatives, and offering sponsorships for others.
Every contribution is received with gratitude. All paths are honored equally, and it is your presence and spirit that complete the circle.
