🔥 Waq’xaqui (8) B’atz:
A Ceremonial Weekend of Renewal & Connection
Fri October 3rd – Sunday October 5th, 2025
Bear Paw Meadow, Deer Mountain Sanctuary
Waq’xaqui (8) B’atz serves as the consistent heartbeat and ritual for Earth Peoples United every 260 days. It is a dedicated time for us to collectively offer to creation, find spiritual renewal through ceremony, spend time in nature, and live in connection as a village. We maintain this regular rhythm of ceremony to empower and connect to each other and Mother Earth, helping us anchor ourselves in life. The connections forged during this specific ceremony periods are both powerful and supportive for who we are becoming. This specific Mayan ritual is celebrated by millions of people at various sacred sites on this day - uniting, activating, and harnessing the collective energy for renewed creation.

Mayan Calendar Days:
Waqui (6) Toj is a day of the dimensional balance of reciprocity: the ability to deeply offer ourselves to life and fully receive the gifts given. Whatever imbalance we hold in this sacred exchange can be brought back into a place of balance.
Wuku (7) T’zi is the day of the keepers of the Original Instructions - the law that governs the community and the family, how we honor our relationship to this web of life. The women lead the ceremonies to make offerings on this day, as the ones carry new life in their wombs. We come together in council when possible to address and release the things that we do not want to carry forward.
Waqxaqui (8) B’atz is celebrated by millions of the Maya to honor the day when their bundles, relationships, and the Original Instructions go through an evolutionary process in which the 8 strands, the 8 umbilical cords (B’atz) that have been weaving into the web of life now become complete. We bless the bundles and celebrate a new 260 day cycle beginning.

Helps lower financial barriers, supported by the generosity of others. We recognize this may still be a stretch and honor the commitment it represents.
Steward Path – $375 (Balanced Contribution)
